Personalised Dog Portrait, Transform your favourite photograph into an illustrated Pet Portrait.  Printed on 330gsm Fine Textured Art Paper, available as a print, framed or canvas.

How to Order : 
1. Select your preferred sizing, print, framing and mount / or canvas.
2. Add to your basket and checkout 
3. Send your pet's photo via email to :  Jackie@thedesignstation.co.uk  (Please see our guidelines for photograph recommendations)
4. Once your portrait is complete, I will send a copy for approval.
5. If you require any revisions, I will forward all via email for approval prior to going to print.
6. Once approved, your order will be prepared.  For email options only, we will email you a 12x16" 300dpi JPG at 300dpi of your design to do with as you wish. 

What is a Giclée Print ?  To qualify for the title of a Giclée Print, UV stable pigment based archival inks and archival quality coated paper will be used.  Our Giclée prints, are available in various sizes (see listing dropdown), digitally printed on beautiful, high quality 100% Textured Paper fine art paper, offering strong reproduction of blacks and good colour intensity with a texture that holds the ink and catches the light. This Giclée paper has a warm white uncoated paper base, which together with the texture gives the artwork a lovely fine art reproduction feel. 

For an additional cost, we can also frame your print for you, we offer a choice of white or black, frames are 22mm wide and 22mm deep.  Sizes up to and including 14×11″ come with a strut back and two hooks which allows it to stand or hang either way. (portrait or landscape) All sizes above 16×12″ are supplied with two hooks.

Taking a Good Photograph - Guidelines. 

We understand that some customers will be in a position where their pet has sadly passed away and taking photos specifically for a portrait is not an option, in this case it is worth looking through any photos you have to find your favourite,  send as many photos as possible, this way we can choose the most suitable picture for your print.

Take photos outside, cloudy days are ideal, if it is sunny try to take photos an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset.
Get on your pets level - photographs taken from above can distort the animals body.
Get up close to your pet, photographs taken too far away will result in all the fine details being lost, fine details are essential.
Light up their eyes, have the sun behind you not behind your pet, the eyes are the windows to the soul.
Take as many photos as you can, try different angles, the more you can take the more chance of finding a suitable photograph.
Enlist the help of a friend, use a toy or treat to direct their attention.
