IRISH GUARDS INSIGNIA Design Laser Engraved Sterling Silver or 9ct Gold Cufflinks

All of our Silver and Gold Cufflinks are custom handmade in England and laser engraved in our workshop in Shropshire, England. We are also able to engrave a short message or text on the reverse of each cufflink, this is limited to approximately 20 characters per cufflink for the best result in the engraving space available, the longer the message the small it will become.

A digital black/white proof will be emailed to you prior to engraving (customised designs only), just to ensure you are happy with the design.

Your Men's | Ladies Cufflinks will arrive in a smart presentation box with one of our handmade wax seals and organza bag.

Average Dispatch 2-7 working days

Handmade Sterling Silver Boat Cufflinks are sent to the ASSAY Office for testing, before being stamped with British Hallmark.

Our Standard engraving will be 'Facing You' and when worn the design will be upright to the wearer, if you would like the design to face away from you (to appear upright to any body admiring the cufflinks) please select 'Facing Away' from the design options.
PLEASE NOTE that if you select ' FACING AWAY' the cufflinks will sit upside down in the presentation box.

All of our Military designs are also available for engraving on our range of signet rings please let us know if you would like to see a preview on your desired signet ring shape.

History: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia

The Irish Guards (IG), is one of the Foot Guards regiments of the British Army and is part of the Guards Division. Together with the Royal Irish Regiment, it is one of the two Irish infantry regiments in the British Army. The regiment has participated in campaigns in the First World War, the Second World War, the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan as well as numerous other operations throughout its history. The Irish Guards claim six Victoria Cross recipients, four from the First World War and two from the Second World War.

One way to distinguish between the five regiments of Foot Guards is the spacing of the buttons on their tunics. The Irish Guards have buttons arranged in fours as they were the fourth Foot Guards regiment to be founded. They also have a prominent St. Patrick's blue plume on the right side of their bearskins.
